Its a very proude moment of all Indians that the first batch of women military police joined the Indian army and ready to serve for the nation. This recruitment shows that our brave women also have the courage to serve in the army as soldiers.
On Saturday (8 May 2021) army included 83 women into the fleet at Dronacharya Parade Ground in Bengaluru. Major Kalshi Classes congratulations to these 83 women soldiers on their success, and we regularly encourage our brave women to join the armed forces.
These women soldirs get 61 weeks of training. Training included-
- Basic military training
- Ceremonial duties training
- All form of Policing Duty
- Managements of Prisoners of war
- Training of driving
- Maintenance of all vehicles and it’s communication signals.
The commandant of CMP C&S, reviewing the parade, complimented the newly attested women soldiers for their impeccable drill. The parade was held in the presence of minimum officers due to covid pandemic and follow all safety protocols.
Indian Army to induct women as pilot into force’s aviation corps from 2022.
Eligibility Criteria to join Women Military Police:-
Educational Qualifications:– A candidate must have passed at least class 10th with minimum of 45% marks.
Age Limit:- The age of the candidate must be between 17 years old to 21 years old.
Physical Fitness Test:
The Physical Fitness Test is the main part of the selection and also the toughest one. A candidate will have to prepare so well for this Physical Examination. In this physical fitness test. One will appear for activities like running, push-ups, squats, sit-ups, etc. All these activities must be completed in a definite time period. Here are those activities and details about these activities:
- Running: 1.6km within 5minutues
- Push-ups: 20
- Squats: 20
- Sit-ups: 10 etc.
