UPSC NDA 1 2021 Form will open
The applications for the examination to be held in the year 2021 of the National Defense Academy will be filled from 30 December 2020 to 19 January 2020. This notification must be checked once on the official website of UPSC. Through the NDA examination, the candidate is selected to work for the post of lieutenant in the Army, Air Force and Navy. NDA 1 2021 eligibility criteria
Candidates should follow the eligibility criteria before applying for NDA 1 2021.
General ability
- Nationality: The candidate of Indian national, Bhutan subject or Nepal category will be eligible for NDA 1 2021 OR.
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India with the intention of settling in India permanently (before 1 January 1962). or
- Persons of Indian origin who are from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African, Burma countries, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Zaire moved with the intention of permanently settling in India with the united peoples of Vietnam or Ethiopia and Malawi.
- marital status : Candidates must be unmarried to be eligible for NDA 2021.
- Gender : Only male candidates can fill this application form. Women cannot fill this application form.
- Age limit: – A candidate must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age to be eligible for this application.
- NDA I- Candidates applying should be born between 2 July 2002 to 1 July 2005.

Educational Qualifications
- For Army Wing or National Defense Academy: Candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board or university.
- For the Air Force and Naval Wing of the NDA at the Indian Naval Academy and for the 10 + 2 Cadet Entry Scheme: Candidates applying should pass 12th with Physics and Mathematics as their compulsory subject for the examination.
Physical ability
- The candidates should be physically fit as per the norms set by the authorities.
