UPSC CPF AC Application:- UPSC Combined Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant Exam 2021) has released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant. Eligible candidates may apply from 15/05/2021 and the last date is 05/05/2021. So do not wait for the last date of the UPSC CPF Application Form.

How to Apply for CAPF 2021:

The UPSC CAPF application form will be available on the official website of UPSC. Here is the step by step procedure given to apply online:

  • Go to the official website of UPSC is www.upsc.gov.in
  • The application process of UPSC CAPF will be completed in 2 parts i.e. Part A, & Part B.
  • Part-A is an online registration process in which candidates have to register themselves for the exam.
  • On successful registration, Registration ID and password will be generated.
  • In the second part of the application process, the applicants will have to log in with Registration ID and Password i.e., Date of Birth, and then proceed to fill the details in the application form.
  • Candidates need to provide all the details correctly in the CAPF application form.
  • Candidates need to pay the application fee as well at the time of the submission of the application form.
  • You may need to pay Application fees, Which must be paid by the candidates through the Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.

UPSC CPF AC Exam Date 2021:-

UPSC Will conduct the CAPF Exam on 8 August 2021 at various centre in India. The Written exam will consist of two paper in two-phase i.e morning and evening.

Eligibility Criteria 2021:-

Nationality:- No person who is not a citizen of India shall, except with the consent of the Central Government signified in writing be appointed or employed under these Rules. Provided that nothing contained in these rules shall debar the appointment, enrolment or employment of a subject of Nepal or Bhutan under these Rules.

Sex : Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandants.

Age Limits:- A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August 2021, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1996 and not later than 1st August 2001.

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable.

  1. Upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
  2. Upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes, who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
  3. Upto a maximum of five years for Civilian Central Government Servants in accordance with the existing instructions of the Central Government. Ex-Servicemen will also be eligible for this relaxation. However, the total relaxation claimed on account of Government Service will be limited to five years.

LAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS :

  1. The Online Applications can be filled up to 05th May 2021 till 18.00 hours, after which the link will be disabled.
  2. The online Applications can be withdrawn from 12.05.2021 to 18.05.2021 till 6.00 PM after which the link will be disabled.

Exam Pattern:-

There are two papers in the Central Armed Police Forces Written Examination. The Exam pattern of both papers will be a bit different:-

  • Paper-I for 250 marks. It consists of General Mental Ability and Intelligence test.
  • The maximum duration for the paper is 2 hours.
  • The maximum number of questions asked in the paper is 125 Objective type questions.
  • There is a 1/3 negative penalty for each wrong answer.
  • Paper-II, it consists of General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension Test.
  • The maximum duration of the paper is 2 hours.
  • It is just a conventional type of paper for which a total of 200 marks are awarded.
  • Those who qualify this Phase-1 of the examination are sent to Phase-II.
