What is the GD Round in SSB?
GD stands for the Group Discussion in SSB Interview. In this round, candidates are divided into group of 6-12 depending upon the number of candidates. For a group of candidates, a round table is set up and discussion is held. Some GD Topics for SSB Interview is given by the Service Selection Board. During the 15 to 20 minute discussion, the candidate is checked whether he can represent himself publically or not and he holds good verbal English. This round is under the GTO test held on day 3 of the SSB Interview.
What is the Lecturette Round in SSB?
Unlike the Group discussion in the SSB Interview, the Lecturette round in the SSB Interview is a personal round for all the students appearing in the SSB Interview. This Section also comes under the GTO test of the SSB Interview. This round is to check the personality of the candidate and that is the reason that the Lecturette round is taken personally of each and every candidate.The main Lecturette Round topics in SSB are Psychology and Verbal English.
