Rashtriya Military Schools CET 2021 Notification for RMS admission process for the academic session 2022-2023 is started. This is the first time since its inauguration that girls are going to become a part of this prestigious institute.
Boys and Girls applicants who are looking for this may submit their application by 15th November. The written examination for RIMC Dec 2021 for both boys and girls will be conducted on 18th Dec 2021 and those students who will qualify this written exam they will be called for the Viva-voce test on notified dates.

About Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC)
Rashtriya Indian Military College is an Inter-Service Institution administered by the Director-General of Military Training, Army Headquarters, New Delhi. It is situated in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This school provides education and training to young boys and now to girls of the country for their all-round development with an aim to send these boys to NDA/NAVAC. The school education is affiliated with CBSE board. It follows NCERT pattern.
Admission in this school is made to only class VIII. Admissions in RIMC are bi-annual i.e. admissions are made twice a year in the month of January and July. This is the only school in Indian where class X and XII Board exams are conducted twice a year. Admissions are only granted to male candidates but now after the decision of central government girls are also eligible for this. Only 25 students from all the states and Union territories are selected in each term.
Admission Eligibility:

Age- Candidates should not be less than 11 ½ years of age and should not have attained the age of 13 at the time of admission i.e. on 1st July 2022
Educational Qualification-
Candidates must be studying in class VII or passed class VII from a recognized school.
ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
The Examination comprises of:-
| A. | Written Examination Written Examination The written part of the examination consists of three subjects i.e. English (125 Marks), Mathematics (200 Marks), and General Knowledge (75 Marks). Maths and General knowledge papers may be answered either in Hindi or in English. To qualify, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 50 % marks in each subject. |
| B. | Viva Voce Viva Voce The oral examination consists of a Viva Voce test of 50 marks, which is designed to assess a candidate’s intelligence, personality and confidence. The minimum passing marks will be 50%. |
| C. | Medical Examination Medical Examination All the candidates, qualified after interview, will undergo a medical examination at selected Military Hospital and only those candidates found medically fit, will be considered for selection and admission to the RIMC. Medical Examination of the candidates forms only a part of the system of selection and does not guarantee the final selection. |
