NDA examination is a national wise examination conducted by the UPSC twice a year. Many aspirants are eagerly waiting for the NDA 2 2023 Exam notification. NDA 2023 Eligibility:-
Nationality: A candidate must be either: a. a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan.
Age Limit: A candidate must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years old. For the upcoming NDA 2 2022, the candidate should have been born between 2nd January 2004 to 1st July 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification: A candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. For Army Wing of NDA, candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics. For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA, candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.
Physical Standards: A candidate must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards.
Selection Process:
- Candidates who clear the written exam are called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview.
- The SSB interview consists of two stages: Stage I and Stage II.
- Candidates who clear both stages of the SSB interview are eligible for the medical examination.
Application Process:
- The application form is available on the UPSC website.
- The application fee is Rs. 100 for General and OBC candidates, while SC/ST candidates and sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempt from the fee.
Exam Pattern 2023:-
To become eligible for the National Defence Academy (NDA), candidates are required to clear a written exam, which is further followed by an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). The written exam consists of two papers, namely Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The Mathematics paper carries a total of 300 marks, whereas the GAT paper carries a total of 600 marks.
