Indian Navy SSC Notification 2023 Out

For courses beginning in June 2023 and onward at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala, applications are being accepted from qualified unmarried men and unmarried women. Candidates must meet the nationality requirements outlined by the Indian government. Selected candidates will go through the following training for their particular branches, cadres, and specialisations.

(a) Extended Naval Orientation Course – General Service (Executive) GS(X) / Hydrography
(b) Naval Orientation Course (NOC) Regular – Pilot / Naval Air Operations Officers / Air Traffic Controller / Logistics / Education/ Technical (Engineering & Electrical) /Naval Constructor.

Indian Navy SSC Eligibility Criteria

Merchant Navy Personnel

(i) Candidates having Government of India, Ministry of Shipping & Transport Certificate of Competency (Foreign going) either as a Second Mate, Mate or Master and born between 02 Jul 1993 to 01 Jan 2004 (both dates inclusive) can apply for Executive Branch entry (General Service)
(ii) Candidates having Government of India, Ministry of Shipping & Transport Certificate of Competency as 1st class Engineer of a steamship by the Govt and born between 02 Jul 1993 to 01 Jan 2004 (both dates inclusive) can apply for Technical Branch entry (SSC Engineering)

Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Holders

Candidates having valid CPL issued by DGCA (India) and born between 02 Jul 1998 to 01 Jul 2004 (both dates inclusive) can apply for Pilot entry as per eligibility criteria

NCC Candidates

NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will be given a relaxation of 5% in cut-off marks towards shortlisting for SSB subject to meeting the following criteria:-

(i) Having NCC ‘C’ certificate of Naval/Army/Air Wing with minimum ‘B’ Grade.
(ii) Not served less than two academic years in the Senior Division, Naval/Army/Air Wing of the NCC.
(iii) ‘C’ certificate should not be dated prior to 01 July 2020.

Post Educational Qualification

Executive Branch (Information Technology)

SSC Executive (Information Technology)
  • Minimum 60% marks in English in class 10th or 12th

Either of the following qualifications:

  • MSc/BE/B.Tech./M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ Software Systems/ Cyber Security/ Information Technology/ System Administration & Networking/ Computer Systems & Networking/ Data Analytics/ Artificial Intelligence with at least 60% marks.
  • MCA with BCA or BSc (Computer Science or Information Technology) with at least 60% marks.

Executive Branch (Other Courses)

General Service [GS/] /Hydro Cadre BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
Air Traffic Controller (ATC) BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates need to have 60% aggregate marks in classes X and XII and a minimum of 60% marks in English in class X or class XII.
Navel Amament Inspector BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
Observer BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. Candidates need to have 60% aggregate marks in classes X and XII and a minimum of 60% marks in English in class X or class XII.
Pilot BE/B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Candidates need to have 60% aggregate marks in classes X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class X or class XII.
Logistics BE/B.Tech in any discipline with First Class or MBA with First Class, or B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with First class along with PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management, or MCA / M.Sc (IT) with First Class

Education First Class in M.Sc. (Maths/Operational Research) with Physics in B.Sc. Or

First Class in M.Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics) with Maths in B.Sc. Or

55% in MA (History) Or
