How to prepare for Coast Guard Exam:

The physical criteria sought in the Indian Coast Guard are as follows:-

• The height of the candidate for the post of Assistant Commandant should be a minimum of 157 Cms. Height reduction is given for candidates who are residents of hilly and tribal areas.
• The candidate’sWeight should have +10 % as per his height and age.
• The minimum expansion of the chest of male candidates should be 5 Cms. Apart from this; generally the chest of the candidate should be a minimum of 75 to 80 Cms.
• The medical criteria require eyesight to be 6/6 and 6/9 without glasses. If you are using glasses the eye standard should be 6/6 and 6/6.

Physical Eligibility	Standard
Height	Min 157 Cms. Relaxation of Hilly and Tribe area’s candidate.
Chest	Min 75-80 Cms. (Expansion 5Cms)
Weight	+10% of Height and Age.
Eye Vision	6/6, 6/9 (Without Glass) 6/6. 6/6 (With Glass)

Criteria of Tattoo: – It is generally not right for the candidates to have a tattoo to join the Indian Army. If a permanent tattoo is available in any part of the body then that candidate is not eligible for selection. But in some areas concessions related to tattoos have been given.
