Indian Army Organizes Marathon To Commemorate ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ of 1971 Indo-Pak War
Indian Army on 17 October coordinated a marathon in the Poonch area of Jammu and Kashmir to honor the ‘Swarnim Vijay Varsh’ of the 1971 Indo-Pak war and ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
The marathon was coordinated in three classifications. The principal class was intended for minors, the second was for over 14 years and the third was for over 14 years old.
The marathon was organized as a piece of the Swarnim Vijay Varsh festivities, denoting the 50th commemoration of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, which prompted the freedom of Bangladesh.
The Central government is observing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to resuscitate and ingrain in the present youth the soul and penances of the uncelebrated saints and political dissidents.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi initiated the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ by hailing off ‘Dandi March’ from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad on twelfth March 2021.
The festivals began 75 weeks before our 75th commemoration of Independence and will end on fifteenth August 2023.
The PM had dispatched ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ in Gujarat and he honored Mahatma Gandhi and any remaining political dissidents who lost their lives battling for the country’s freedom prior to hailing off the occasion.
‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ signifies the “solution of the energy of opportunity”.
The Amrut Mahotsav of Independence, which denotes the 75th commemoration of India’s autonomy, will be commended from one side of the country to the other.
