- Visual Standards for Navy: Candidates who are applying for the Navy through NDA must have a minimum distant vision of 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other eye, correctable with glasses to 6/6. Candidates must not have color blindness or night blindness. They must also have a minimum of 6/24 in each eye, without glasses.
- Visual Standards for Air Force: Candidates who are applying for the Air Force through NDA must have a minimum distant vision of 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in the other eye, correctable with glasses to 6/6.
