CRPF Constable Technical/Tradesman Recruitment 2023 Vacancy Out for 9212 Post

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has released a notification for the recruitment of Constable Technical and Tradesman for the year 2023. Interested candidates can apply for various trades such as Driver, Mochi, Motor Mechanic, Carpenter, Tailor, Band, Cook, Mali, Painter, Safai Karmchari, Dhobi, and Barber by submitting their applications online. The online application for CRPF Constable Technical/Tradesman will be open from 27 March 2023 to 25 April 2023.

The eligibility criteria for the CRPF Constable Technical and Tradesman Recruitment 2023 are as follows:

1. Age Limit: The candidate’s age must be between 18 to 23 years and for driver it is 21-27 year as of 1st August 2023. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government rules.
2. Educational Qualification: The candidate should have passed 10th/ Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board. In addition, the candidate should possess a certificate/ diploma from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the relevant trade for which they are applying.
3. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
4. Physical Standards: The candidate should meet the minimum physical standards as prescribed by the CRPF. This includes height, weight, and chest measurements. Candidates who do not meet the physical standards may be disqualified.

CRPF Constable Technical/Tradesman Selection Process 2023

The selection process for CRPF Constable Technical and Tradesman Recruitment 2023 generally consists of the following stages:

1. Written Test: Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will have to appear for a written test consisting of objective-type questions. The written test will assess the candidate’s knowledge of General Awareness, Mathematics, and Aptitude.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the written test will have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test which includes various physical activities such as race, long jump, high jump, and shot put. The PET will test the candidate’s physical fitness and endurance.
3. Trade Test: Candidates who qualify in the PET will have to undergo a trade test. The trade test will evaluate the candidate’s skills in the trade for which they have applied. The test may include tasks such as repairing, assembling, and troubleshooting various equipment.
4. Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in the trade test will have to undergo a medical examination to ensure that they are physically and medically fit to perform the duties of a Constable Technical and Tradesman.
5. Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the medical examination will have to undergo document verification to confirm their eligibility and authenticity of the documents submitted during the application process.

The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written test, PET, trade test, medical examination, and document verification. The CRPF reserves the right to modify the selection process at any stage of the recruitment process.

2. Marks scored by candidates in CBT will be normalized.

Salary of CRPF Constable Technical/Tradesman 2023:-

The salary of a CRPF Constable Technical/Tradesman varies based on several factors such as the location of posting, allowances, and deductions. However, as per the 7th Pay Commission, the basic pay for a CRPF Constable is in the pay scale of Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100.

Apart from the basic pay, there are other allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Travel Allowance (TA) that are added to the salary. The amount of these allowances varies based on the location of posting and other factors.

In addition to the allowances, deductions such as Provident Fund (PF), National Pension System (NPS), and Income Tax (IT) are also applicable. The final salary of a CRPF Constable Technical/Tradesman after deductions and allowances may vary from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 approximately.
