Eligibility Criteria for CDS 1 2021 Entry:
- You can apply for the CDS examination only after graduation.
- If the candidate is in the final year of his graduation can also apply for this.
- Candidate must have at least 60% marks in his graduation.

Indian Military Academy (IMA):-
- Candidate should have a graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized institute.
Indian Air Force Academy (AFA):-

Indian Naval Academy (INA):-
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics and having a B.E or B.tech degree from any recognized Institute.
Officers Training Academy (OTA):-
- For OTA Candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized Institute. Through the OTA candidate can become officers in the Indian Army as SSC ( Short Service Commission).

Age limit for CDS Entry 2021:
- IMA:- For IMA, the candidate age must be between 19-24yrs old.
- AFA:- For AFA, the candidate age must be between 19-24yrs old.
- INA:- For INA, the candidate age must be between 19-22yrs old.
- OTA:- For OTA, candidates’ age must be between 19-27yrs old.

CDS 1 2021 Selection Process:
The Selection of the candidate through the CDS Examination will be done in three phases. It is mandatory to clear all the three phases of selection. here is the process of selection of CDS Examination.
- Written Exam
- SSB Interview
- Medical Examination
A candidate will have to clear all these phases of the selection. The Written exam is easy as compared to the SSB (Service Selection Board) Interview. The shortlisting of the candidates for the SSB Interview will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the Written examination. First, you have to clear the written examination, and then all the selected candidates in the written examination will proceed for the SSB Interview and then medical test, etc. There is no such physical test that helps separately. Your Physical Stamina may be checked in the SSB Interview while the ground task activities.

How to prepare for CDS Examination:
There is a total of three subjects that you have to prepare for the CDS written Examination. English, General Awareness and Elementary Mathematics, etc.
- For English, first, check the English test syllabus.
- To prepare for English create a habit of reading and improve your vocabulary. You can do it by reading an English newspaper, English articles, etc.
- Set proper time management for the grammar portion.
- Solve the mock test paper and previous year question paper.
- For General knowledge, there is no perfect trick to prepare for this. Just collect information regarding news, international news, defense-related news, etc.
- And for the History, civil and geography prepare with the CDS books. Or books of Major Kalshi Classes.
- For elementary mathematics, this is not so tough portion, most of the questions would be tricky like reasoning, just prepare for the reasoning and also solve the maths till 12th
- Take help from the previous year’s question papers or mock test papers.
