National Defence Academy Examination – How To Join Indian Army As An Officer

- Vacancies: The total number of vacancies for National Defence Academy is 360 in which 208 is for Army, 60 is for Navy and 92 is for Air Force. On the other hand, the total number of vacancies for Naval Academy is 55.
Eligibility – How To Join Indian Army As An Officer
- Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India, Bhutan, or Nepal.
- Age: Candidate must be aged between 16 ½ to 19 ½.
- Sex: Male
- Marital status: Unmarried
Educational Qualification for National Defence Academy
- Army Wings: Candidates should be 10+2 passed with School Education or equivalent exam conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
- Air Force and Naval Wings: Candidates should be passed with School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

- SSB interview conducted by SSB for Army/Navy/Air Force

- Notification month: May/June & November/December
- Commencement of SSB: August/September/October & February/March/April
- Vacancies: There are 90 vacancies which are provisional and can be changed depending upon the training capability at the training academy.
