What is Airforce X and Y group?
After passing 12th class, this exam is done for the students who want to work in the Indian Air Force, X Group Exam means . Working in the technical department of the Air Force and Y Group means Non-Technical Departmen.
There is only one paper for both groups but the cut off is different, So any student who considers himself eligible for this examination and taking a job at an early age is said to be the support of his parents. For them, this exam is a very good option.

Educational Qualification for X Group:-
Age: 17- 21 Years
Education Qualification: 10 + 2 or its equivalent Mathematics, Physics and English with at least 50% marks as well as 50% marks in English subject only.

A 3-year diploma course in engineering is required to pass with at least 50% marks and at the same time 50% marks in English subject is also mandatory.

Physical efficiency and medical fitness to join X and Y Group: –

What is the salary of X and Y group?
Salary at the time of training: –
During training, a payment of Rs. 14,600 / – per month will be made.
Salary after completion of training: –
- Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trade: – Rs. 33,100 / – per month (approx.) And DA (as applicable), which will be increased in subsequent years as per the career progression of the individual.
- Y Group (Non Technical Trade): – Rs. 26,900 / – per month (approx.) And DA (as applicable), which will be increased in subsequent years as per the career progression of the individual.
