This Exam is conducted by Indian Air Force twice in year. Those candidates who missed chance in AFCAT-1 can apply in AFCAT-2 this notification will be released by IAF very soon in month of June. The main motto “Touch the Sky with Glory” has been very inspirational for the Indian Air Force, as they follow it strictly in their personal and professional life maintaining the prestige of the Department. So this written exam is also a glorious through which IAF looks for active intelligence and academic knowledge of candidate.
Any stream graduate unmarried male/female candidate are eligible for Ground Duty Branch candidates those who want to apply for Technical Branch or Flying Branch as a pilot must be from engineering background with minimum 60% marks. More information related with eligibility criteria will come out clearly after release of official notification.
The Exam will be scheduled in August 2017 and candidates have sufficient time to prepare for it. The examination will be held on August 2017. Notification will be released nearly till End of May or Mid of June. With one month open registration process the closing of registration will in month of July. Result will be announced after written exam in month of September. After that selected candidates will be called for AFSB interview.
