Territorial Army Admit Card:- The territorial Army is a very special branch of the army, young aspirants can join the Territorial army along with their corporate job. Many people do not aware of the territorial Army. Recently Indian army has published the notification for the recruitment of the Territorial Army, The exam date of TA is scheduled on 29 September 2021 at various centres in India.

Eligibility for Territorial Army 2021:-

Education Qualification:- Candidates who are interested in joining the territorial army as an officer must have a graduation degree in any stream.

TA Age Limit:- 18 to 42 years on the date of application.

Physical Standards:- A candidate must be physically and medically fit in all aspects.

Note- Serving members of the Regular Army/ Navy/ Air Force/ Police/ GREF/ Para Military and other forces are not eligible.

Territorial Army Eyesight Standard 2021

• Your eyesight must be 6/6 without glasses.
• If you are wearing glasses it should not be worse than 6/12.
• Limits for myopia 0.75D and for Hypermetropia +1.5D
• Should not have colour blindness or night blindness.

Body Measurement required in territorial Army India:

Here are the checks that are done before you appear for the test. One must match all the criteria that are required to clear:

• The height of the candidate should not be less than 157cm.
• You should have a Standard body weight as per your height.
• Your body should not carry any genetic disease like gynecomastia, joint knees, colour blindness or night blindness.
• Your chest should be well developed with a 5cm minimum expansion.
• Your elbow should not be turned in the outer direction for more than 15 degrees.
• Your joint and your bones should be completely fine.
• Any severe body fracture in any body part can cause permanent rejection.

Territotrial Army Selection Process 2021:-

1. Written Exam
2. PIB
3. SSB Interview
4. Medical Exam

Note:- Ex-Servicemen have to appear only for the Interview, they do not need to follow the upper 4 stages of the selection process.

• Screening stage (includes Written & Interview): The aspirants who have applied for the TA exam are called for the screening. This involves two types of exams. First is the Written Exam which will test Reasoning, Elementary mathematics, general knowledge & hold on the language. Second is the interview round which is conducted by PIB (Preliminary Interview Board).
• Service Selection Board (SSB) examination: The selected candidates will have to give tests conducted by the SSB.
• Medical Examination: The selected candidates will then have to go through a proper health check-up & a medical examination of the physical body will be conducted as per standards set by Military Hospital.

Territorial Army 2021 Exam Pattern:-

1. All the questions are objective type
2. Mode of examination will be offline (Pen and Paper Mode)
3. For wrong answer there will be negative marking scheme.
4. Time of question paper is 2Hr and conducted in two session.

Standard of Examination:-

The Standard of the written exam is up to graduation level and except Elementary Mathematics, It will be 10th level.

The candidate will have to score at least 40% on each paper of the Exam. The overall average percentage should be at least 50% to clear for the next phase.
