Passing out parade is a grand celebration where the cadets celebrate their success in pre-commission training. In 2021, the AFA passing out parade celebration held on 19th June and Air Chief Marshal Mr. R.K.S. Bhadauria is the reviewing officer.
Passing Out Parade – Reviewing Officers and Chief Guest
Along with Air Chief Marshal, PVSM, AVSM, VM and ADS are invited as the chief guests for the Air Force Academy passing out parade, 2021 that held at Air Force Academy located at Dudigal, Secunderabad. The flight cadets from Air Force Academy and Indian Coast Guard took part in this passing out parade after successful completion of their flight and navigation training.
During this ceremonial event the Air Chief Marshal presented “wings” and “brevets” along with the President’s commission to the graduate flight cadets from both the Air Force Academy and ICG. The flying cadet who has achieved the best performance during the training awarded the “Sword of Honor” from the hands of Chief of Air Staff, Mr. R.K.S. Passing Out Parade – Live Performances
After passing out parade there was the splendid performance display by the legendary Surya Kiran Aerobatic and Sarang Helicopter Display Team along with Pilatus PC-7 trainer. Also, the celebrated Akash Ganga Team showcased their Para Jumping expertise. The AFA Parade included the splendid fly past arrangements by the Hawk, Kiran, Pilatus aircrafts along with Chetak helicopters.
Sadly, due to the COVID 19 pandemic the parents of the flying cadets couldn’t attend this ceremonial event. However, the organizers have arranged the live streaming of this event through Door Darshan and Social Media.

In the evening, as per the tradition, the Air Chief Marshal will take part in dinner with the graduate flying cadets for boosting up their moral and courage.
