NDA Passing Out Parade 140:- Passing Out Parade of NDA is one of the best parades ever, candidates who have done their training in the academy now will be doing the NDA passing out parade, in this parade, they will perform all the drills they have learned and one in the academy and after this parade, they will be allotted their duty with the rank and insignia. This is the third time where the Passing Out Parade was held under the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic. Admiral Karambir Singh reviewed the parade, addressed the passing out cadets, and gave awards to the outstanding cadets from the course.
NDA Passing Out Parade for OTA, INA
A total of 215 cadets were conferred their degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, which included 48 cadets in the science stream, followed by 93 in computer science and 74 in arts. As many as 18 cadets from friendly foreign countries were among those who were awarded degrees.
The shortlisted candidates for the three services viz, Army, Navy, and Air Force are given preliminary training both academic and physical for a period of 3 years at the National Defence Academy which is an Inter-Service Institution. The training during the first two and half years is common to the cadets of three wings. All the cadets on passing out will be awarded degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi.
National defense academy is the only academy in the world that recruits and trains candidates from all three major forces of the Nation. Anybody who has passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics can apply for this, NDA cadets are highly trained and capable of going or taking action for the nation.
After NDA Passing Out Parade:
Cadets get trained at the National Defense Academy for 3 years, and these 3 years would be divided into six semesters after passing these all semester successfully you will be allowed graduation degree B.tech/Bsc/B. a from the JNU, New Delhi. After that, you will be sent to your respected wings whatever you select like for army cadets Indian Military Academy (IMA), for air force cadets Air Force Academy (AFA), for navy cadets Indian Naval Academy (INA) and here you will be trained for 2 years. And here you will be trained about your duties, about your responsibility, etc. after the pass this successfully there would be a Passing Out parade after this you will be posted as an officer in your respected branch.
