Indian Army’s Military Nursing Service is an entry that provides excellent opportunities to 10+2 passed females to make their career as a Nursing Officer. This entry notifies once a year and provides admission into 4 years B.Sc. (Nursing) course. To make a career in the Indian Military Nursing Service as a Nursing Officer, female candidates are required to meet the below-given eligibility criteria:

- Female candidates who are unmarried/divorcee/legally separated or widow with encumbrances will be eligible for this entry.
- Candidates should be a citizen of India.
Age Limit –Indian Military Nursing Service
Candidates born between 01st October 1993 to 30th September 2001 (both days inclusive) will be eligible.
Educational Qualification – Indian Military Nursing Service
- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary Exam (10+2) or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English (in the first attempt) with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a Statutory/Recognized Board/University/Exam Body.
- Candidates appearing in the final year may also apply provisionally.
Physical Standards – Indian Military Nursing Service
Medical fitness will be determined as per standards applicable for commission in the Armed Forces. X-Ray exam of the chest as well as USG will be done. Minimum height should be 148 cm. Selection Procedure – Indian Military Nursing Service
Eligible candidates will be called for the written exam (objective type) of 90 minutes duration. This exam includes General English, Biology, Physics, Chemistry and General Intelligence. On the basis of the written test as per merit, candidates will be called for interview. Final selection will be based on combined merit of written test as well as interview.
Interview and medical exam: Merit listed candidates of written exam will appear for interview as well as a medical exam at selected centres. Candidates will be declared FIT or UNFIT by the President of the Selection Medical Board (SMB).

Candidates can visit the official website of Indian Army and pay the application online which will be accessible from 11th December 2017 to 30th December 2017. The email ID of candidates will be their user ID and candidates can select their own password.
The application fee is of Rs 150/- and details of payment will be provided while submitting the application online. The last date of online submission will be on 30th Nov 2018.
