Indian Coast Guard Vacancies Out for Post of Assistant Commandant
The Indian coast guard has released a notification for unmarried male candidates in three posts on rank of Assistant Commandant.
The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, offers a challenging career to young and dynamic Indian male candidates and invites online application. Number of post released is not decided yet it will depend upon the number of eligible candidates. The various posts are listed below:

- General duty branch (POILT)
- POILT (CPL)

NOTE: Short Service Appointment. Short Service Appointment as Assistant Commandant for a period of 08 years, which may be extended to 10 years and further extendable upto 14 years.
STEPS HOW TO APPLY
Applications will be accepted only ‘Online’ from 24 Jun 2017 till 02 Jul 2017 for the above branches.
- To fill up “Online” application the candidates need to logon to the Website joinindiancoastguard.gov.inand click on opportunities button after reading the instruction carefully proceed further.
- Select any one post to be filled from following:
- Asst. Commandant General Duty
- Asst. Commandant General Duty (Pilots)
- Asst. Commandant (Commercial Pilot License-SSA)
- Click on the “I Agree” button then online Application will be displayed.
- Upload photograph and signature as per given in instruction
- Recheck your details and click on the submit button
- Candidates are advised to take print out of their final submission form for future use.
Important instructions for filling up of online applications are as follows
(i).The name of the candidate, father/mother’s name and date of
Birthshould be same as mentioned in the 10th class passing certificate.
(ii). Indicate exact percentage of 12th and Graduation marks upto two decimals and this is not to be rounded off.
(iii). Candidates to choose any one venue for PSB out of the options displayed.
(iv). Filling up of information like personal email ID and Mobile number of the candidate is compulsory. The date, time and venue of the test and other information will be informed through personal email ID/ CG Recruitment website.
