Notification of Indian Coast Guard DB
The enrolment of the above candidates in the Indian coast guard will be subject to clearing the final medical examination at INS Chilka. The candidates are required to report to the recruiting officer, ins Chilka, post office – Chilka, dist – Khurda, Orissa – 752037 as per the date and time mentioned above. Submission of ink signed “call letter for final medical‟ at INS Chilka mandatory for enrollment process in the Indian coast guard GD.
In case the candidate has not received the ink signed call-up letter mentioned at para 8, then the same can be collected by the candidate after 25 January 2021 (between 3:00 hrs. To 5:00 hrs.) On producing e-admit card and photo id card (any one of aadhar card, voter id card, driving license, passport, college ID card) from the respective recruitment zone of the candidate

- Call Letter (You will receive by speed post)- 4 copies (one original & 3 photocopies).
- Blue Black Ground Colour Passport Size Photographs – 30 Nos.
- Original Photographs of specification of 3.5 cms X 2.5cms with blue background – 10 nos.
- Domicile Certificate – one copy original & 10 Self Attested photocopy.
- Class 10thMarksheet & Certificate – one copy original & 10 self-attested photo copy.
- Class 12thMarksheet & Certificate – one copy original & 10 self attested photo copy.
- Identity photo certificate – one copy original and 3 photocopies.
- SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer/EWS certificate as per govt. Of India format if you belong to this category) – one copy original & 10 self-attested photocopies.

Medical test
- Candidates will be medically tested by a military doctor for medical tests.
- The minimum height of the candidate should be 157 cm. Discount is payable for candidates residing in the hills and other areas.
- There should be a minimum flow of 5 cm in the chest.
- Weight should be in +/- 10 ratio according to height and age of the candidate.
- As per the vision standard, the candidate’s vision is set for 6/6 healthy eyes and 6/9 for idle eyes.
Training
The initial training of the candidates will be conducted from April 2021 under the Marine Training and Professional Training Branch at INS Chilka. Any candidate who violates any type of mistake or rule during training can be excluded during training.
