Indian Air Force X & Y Group Exam 2018 which was scheduled on 10th& 11th March 2018 has been cancelled as per the official website of Indian Air force.Fresh dates for the examination as well as fresh dates for downloading of Admit cards will be announced soon.
Indian Air Force released the notification for X & Y Group in Dec 2017 and first time examination was made online. Students were also charged with 250 Rupees as examination fee.
Official statement on Postponement of examination-
Dear Candidates,
The scheduled test for airmen recruitment (STAR) is postponed and will not be held on 10th and 11th March 2018 due to technical reasons. Fresh dates of exam will be announced shortly. We understand the inconvenience caused to you because of the change of date. Freshdate for issue of admit card would also be announced soon.
Lakhs of candidates were waiting for their admit card from last one month as initially the dates of downloading of admit cards was 15th Feb which was extended till 26th Feb before calling off.
Reasons behind-
- CASB has reported some technical issues in conducting this examination on time.
- Server of CASB is incapable of handling such a huge practice.
- It is a grave mismanagement as this must be though earlier before announcing the examination in online mode.
- Recently we saw same kind of problem in AFCAT Examination in which many of the centres were reported technical glitches and cancelled the examination.
What is the way ahead?
- Candidates need to keep close eye on official website of CASB which is airmenselection.cdac.in for further updates.
- Exam will be conducted very soon, it is postponed not called off.
