Eligibility Criteria for CDS 2 2021 Entry:
- You can apply for the CDS examination only after graduation.
- If the candidate is in the final year of his graduation can also apply for this.
- The candidate must have at least 60% marks in his graduation.
See, through CDS examination they recruit the candidate for the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA) so the educational qualification would be different as per their guidelines. Let’s discuss each academy’s qualification in detail:-
Indian Military Academy (IMA):-
Candidate should have a graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized institute.
Indian Air Force Academy (AFA):-
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics and have a degree in any discipline from any recognized Institute.
Indian Naval Academy (INA):-
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics and having a B.E or B.tech degree from any recognized Institute.
Officers Training Academy (OTA):-
- For OTA Candidates should have a graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized Institute. Through the OTA candidate can become officers in the Indian Army as SSC ( Short Service Commission).
Age limit for CDS Entry 2021:

| For INA, the candidate’s age must be between | 19-22yrs old |
| For OTA, candidates’ age must be between | 19-27yrs old. |

CDS 2 2021 Selection Process:
The Selection of the candidate through the CDS Examination will be done in three phases. It is mandatory to clear all three phases of selection. here is the process of selection of CDS Examination.
- Written Exam
- SSB Interview
- Medical Examination
A candidate will have to clear all these phases of the selection. The Written exam is easy as compared to the SSB (Service Selection Board) Interview. The shortlisting of the candidates for the SSB Interview will be done on the basis of the marks scored in the Written examination. First, you have to clear the written examination, and then all the selected candidates in the written examination will proceed for the SSB Interview and then medical test, etc. There is no such physical test that helps separately. Your Physical Stamina may be checked in the SSB Interview while the ground task activities.
