The CDS 1/2023 written exam was divided into three papers English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics. Each paper was of two hours duration and carried 100 marks. The Overall mark was 300, Candidates who scored 130 marks and more cleared the CDS Written Examination. The English paper tested the candidates’ proficiency in the language, while the General Knowledge paper covered topics such as current affairs, history, geography, and politics. The Elementary Mathematics paper tested the candidates’ knowledge of basic mathematical concepts.
What After CDS Written Exam:
After clearing the CDS written exam, candidates will be called for the next stage of the selection process, which is the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. The SSB interview is conducted over a period of 5-6 days and is designed to assess the candidate’s aptitude, personality, and leadership skills.
The SSB interview consists of various stages such as Screening Tests, Psychological Tests, Group Testing, and Personal Interview. The screening test is conducted on the first day, and candidates who clear this test will move on to the next stage. The psychological test is conducted on the second day, and it assesses the candidate’s personality and intelligence.
