Selection Process of Airforce Rally Bharti:–
The selection procedure of the Rally Bharti consists of the Three Steps process. The processes are mentioned below:-
- Eligibility Verification.
- Physical Fitness Test.
- Written Examination.
A candidate will be selected on the basis of three-phase selection. let’s see the details about each phase of selection. The original Passing Certificates / Marks Sheets will not be retained by the Selection Centre. The same will be returned to the candidates on completion of detailed verification in step first. In context to the Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Auto Tech & IAF(P). Selections will be based on the following procedure.

Eligibility Criteria for Selection in Rally Bharti:
- To apply for this, The age of the candidate must be between 17 years old to 21 years old. The age should not be less than 17 years old while appearing for the verification and it should not be more than 21 years on the date of commencement of the course.
Educational Qualification: - For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Auto Tech & IAF(P) Trades) Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Class XII or Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as well as in English in Class XII or equivalent examination. OR
- Passed two years vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
Physical Fitness Test
PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
Written Examination
All candidates who qualify PFT shall undertake the Written Test on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions. The Written Test will be objective type and question paper shall be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English paper. Duration of the exam is 45 minutes and shall comprise of English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA).
Candidates have to compulsorily qualify each of the papers separately. The results of the written test shall be declared on the same day.
Adaptability Test-1:- All candidates who pass the Written Test shall have to undertake Adaptability Test-1 on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions.
Adaptability Test-2:- All candidates who pass Adaptability Test-1 shall undergo Adaptability Test-2 as per policy in vogue.

Airforce X and Y Group Medical Examination
Candidates who qualify Adaptability Test -2 shall be medically examined in the month of January 2020 at 4 Air Force Hospital, Kalaikunda. Medical Examination shall be conducted by the Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue. Medical Examination would also include Baseline Investigation of: –
- Blood Haemogram – Hb, TLC, DLC
- Urine RE/ME
- Biochemistry:- (i) Blood Sugar Fasting & PP (ii) Serum Cholesterol.
- Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine
- LFT- Serum Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT
- X-Ray chest (PA view)
- ECG (R)
- Tests for Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substance Abuse
- Any other test necessary in the opinion of the Medical Officer.
