There is no any direct ways to join the ACC, only can get into the ACC, if he is enlisted personnel in any of the service, you must have minimum 2 years of service in Indian Navy, Indian Air force or Indian army as a soldier or any other commissioned post. After that, you can apply for the ACC for becoming an Officer. You can only become an officer in the Indian Army through ACC whether you belong to any forces. The training procedure of ACC is pretty much similar to NDA, training would be for 3 years, and after that, you will be posted as an officer in the Indian Army.
ACC Entry Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have 2 years of service in any of the forces like the Indian Navy, Indian Air force or Indian army.
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any discipline from the State Board or central board.
- Married and unmarried both can apply for the ACC.
Age limit for the ACC
- Age of the candidate should be between 20-27 yrs old.
- There is no relaxation given to any caste regarding Age.
Selection Process of ACC:-
Selection would be done on the basis of :
- Written exam
- SSB Interview
- Medical test
Clearing SSB is mandatory in order to become an Officer in any of the Service of Defence.

Training procedure of ACC cadets
This is the Indian Army training program, so it’s not going to be easy. The training procedure is similar to NDA and CDS, you will be trained for 3 years, where you will be trained to command, trained to lead your team. Your training will start at the Army Cadet College wings, Dehradun and after the 3 years of training. You will be sent it to IMA, Dehradoon for 1 year.
