Nationality:
For the exam, the candidate must be a single male or female and must be:
- A citizen of India
- A citizen of Nepal

- A person of Indian origin who moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the aim of settling in India permanently.
