Army JAG Entry 2021 Notification Out:- Indian Army has released the Notification of Judge Advocate General (JAG) 2021. Candidates with having LLB degree can apply for Army JAG Entry 2021 from the official website of the Indian Army. Applications are invited from unmarried male and unmarried female law graduates for grant of Short Service Commission in the Indian Army for Judge Advocate General Branch.

This time army has released JAG Entry 27th Course for the 6 Men and 2 Women vacancy. This recruitment is for Short Service Commission. Below check the eligibility criteria to apply for the JAG.
JAG Eligibility Criteria 2021:-
EducationQualification:-
- Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB Degree
- The candidates should be eligible for registration as an advocate with the Bar Council of India/State.
- The candidate should be from a College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Age Limit:- 21 to 27 years as of 01 Jul 2021 (Born not earlier than 02 Jul 1994 and not later than 01 Jul 2000; both dates inclusive.

Selection Process:-
- Short Listing of Applications form
- Cut off marks Percentage release (based on LLB and Graduation.)
- Allotment of Selection Centers
- Date Selection by candidates
- SSB Interview
- Final Merit List
After shortlisting of applications, the Centre allotment will be intimated to candidates via their email. After allotment of Selection Centre, candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first-come-first-serve basis initially. Thereafter, it will be allotted by the Selection Centres.
Candidates will be put through the two-stage selection procedure. Those who clear Stage I will go to Stage II. Those who fail in stage I will be returned on the same day. The duration of the SSB interview is five days and details of the SSB Interview is given below check now-

Candidates recommended by the SSB and declared medically fit will be issued a joining letter for training in the order of merit, depending on the number of vacancies available, subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.

JAG Entry Physical Standard and Medical Test
Traning Duaration:-
Candidates who qualify for all selection processes will have to undergo training for the post of Judge Advocate General from October 2021. The duration of JAG Training will be 49 weeks at OTA Chennai.
Candidates will neither be allowed to marry during the period of training nor will he/she be allowed to live with parents/Guardians. Candidates must not marry until they complete the full training at the Officers Training Academy.
All candidates who successfully complete Pre-Commission training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai will be awarded ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management and Strategic Studies’ by the University of Madras.
