Educational Qualifications

The age of the candidates for the examination for the naval and mechanical posts of the Indian Coast Guard is as follows.
- Navik (general duty) And Yantrik:- Candidates should be between 18 to 22 years of age while filling the application form for this post. The age calculation should be between 1 August 1999 to 31 July 2003.
- Navik (Domestic Branch):- Candidates should be between 18 to 22 years of age while filling the application form for this post. Age will be calculated between 1 October 1999 to 30 September 2003.
- 5 years relaxation is payable for SC and ST candidates and 3 years relaxation for Other Backward Classes (This exemption is only available if vacancies are reserved)
