The SSB Interview is the mandatory phase of selection to be an officer in the Defense. The Selection of meteorology Entry is completely based on the SSB Interview. Ther e is no written Exam. All the candidate who has applied for this and Selection Authority has released the notification for the SSB Interview. The SSB Interview will be conducted at the following venues:
- Mysore
- Dehradun
- Gandhinagar
- Varanasi
- Kanchanapara etc.
All the candidate who are shortlisted for the SSB Interview, they can choose the SSB venue as per their comfort. If you are appearing for the first time. Air force Selection Board will pay for your 2 Tier Ticket of Indian Railways. This will be given to the only candidates who are appearing for the first time.
Meteorology Entry Dates for SSB:
Meteorology has a total of 22 vacancies. Out of which 10 vacancies are for men and the rest of the 12 vacancies are for Women. Men and Women both are eligible to get a short Service Commission through this entry. Which may be expandable in the future.

SSB Interview Procedure for Meteorology Entry:
The process of the SSB Interview will be the completely same. There is no difference in the process and procedure of the Interview. Due to the coronavirus. The Selection center may take some extra precautions but there is no official announcement has been made regarding the changes in the Selection Process and SSB Interview procedure etc.
| Day 0 (Day of Reporting) | The candidates have to verify their educational documents from assigned staff. Then candidates are allotted SSB board. |
| Day 1 (Screening Tests) | SSB is a two-stage process. To qualify for Stage II, a candidate needs to clear Screening Test or Stage I. Candidates are given Intelligence Test (Verbal and Non-Verbal), then there is a Picture Perception test, in which a slide (hazy or clear) is shown for 30 seconds in this screening. |
| Day 2 (Psychology Tests) | The two tests performed in this examination are as follows; -Thematic Apperception Test (TAT)- Commonly known as Picture Story writing. -Word Association Test (WAT). |
| Day 3 and Day 4 (GTO Tasks) | Group Testing occurs for the Officers (GTO) Test (Third and Fourth day) |
| Day 5 (Conference) | Assessor and the candidate sit together for and have a chat- the fate of the candidate for that SSB is decided by the Assessors collectively there. |
