CAPF English Descriptive Paper:- Every year UPSC CAPF exam is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Assistant Commandants in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB). It is a national-level exam conducted by the Union Service Public Commission (UPSC) once a year.
UPSC offers the position of Assistant Commandants in this exam. CAPF is completely conducted under the organizational structure of UPSC as well as the Indian Government. This is why it is one of the toughest and most competitive exams to crack. Exam Pattern of CAPF Written Exam:
There are two papers in the CAPF Written Examination. One is objective and another is descriptive. The pattern of both papers is completely different.
In the objective paper, There will be negative marking. For every wrong attempt, 0.33 marks will be deducted. There is no negative marking the second paper (Which is objective). Now let’s see the complete Syllabus for the Written Exam of CAPF.
