UPSC Calendar for Armed Forces exam 2019 – Once again UPSC has proved that they plan things in advance. By following their culture of punctuality and professionalism, they have released the UPSC calendar for various Armed forces exams that will be conducted by the end of 2019. Following is a list of the Armed Forces exams conducted by UPSC. Major Kalshi Classes followers are requested to take a note and plan things accordingly. - C.D.S. Examination (I), 2019
The Combined Defence Services Examination is conducted twice a year by the UPSC for recruitment into various categories, including:
- Indian Military Academy
- Officers Training Academy
- Indian Naval Academy and
- Indian Air Force Academy
The Notification for all these examinations is usually released in the months of October and June. In addition to this, the examinations are conducted in the months of February and November respectively. For all the above mentioned exams, only unmarried graduates are eligible. After qualifying the exam, selected candidates will be appeared in the interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
As per the UPSC exam Calendar, the notification for CDS I 2019 will be issued on 31/10/2018. The last date to fill the form will be 26/11/2018 and the Exam will be held on 03/02/2019.
- N.D.A. & N.A. Examination (I), 2019
UPSC conducts the entrance exam twice a year. Generally, the application forms are released in the months of January and June and exams are held in the months of April and September. Only unmarried candidates aged between 16 and 19 years are eligible for NDA & NA Examination. About 320 candidates are accepted to enroll in the academy each semester in which about 70 candidates are from Air Force, 42 are from the Navy and 208 are from the Army.
UPSC Calendar brings info that UPSC is going to issue notice for NDA/NA (I) Exam on 09.01.2019 with the last date to fill form on 04.02.2019. The exam will be conducted on 21.04.2019.
- Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2019
The Central Armed Police Forces refers to the seven security forces under the authority of Ministry of Home Affairs. These seven security forces are the Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, National Security Guard and Sashastra Seema Bal.
As per UPSC Calendar, this exam is conducted once a year. In 2019, UPSC will issue the notice on 24.04.2019 with the last date to fill form as 20.05.2019. The exam will be conducted on 18.08.2019.
- C.D.S. Examination (II), 2019
As per UPSC Calendar, the notification for CDS (II) will be issued on 12.06.2019 with the last date to fill form as 08.07.2019. The exam will be held on 08.09.2019.
- N.D.A. & N.A. Examination (II), 2019
According to UPSC Calendar, the notification for CDS (II) will be issued on 07.08.2019 with the last date to fill form as 03.09.2019. The exam will be held on 17.11.2019
