  • Six Arab Nations Cut Diplomatic Ties with Qatar

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Yemen, Libya and UAE have suspended their diplomatic ties with Qatar. All the six countries has announced that they would withdraw their diplomatic staff from Qatar and eject Qatar’s diplomats from their territories. They also planned to cut air traffic and sea routes. This is because of list of many reasons as Egypt has accused Qatar for supporting terrorist groups and taking an antagonist

  • Nepal signs Agreement for Mega Hydro project with Chinese firm

Nepal has stuck a major deal with China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC) for developing a 1200 Mw Budhigandaki Hydroelectric Project, which will be the biggest hydro project in Nepal having potential to resolve its perennial power crises. The MoU signed in presence of outgoing Prime minister of Nepal and Chinese Ambassador.

  • Agreement between India and Somalia on transfer of sentenced person

By signing the agreement with Somalia shall facilitate the Indian prisoners imprisoned in Somalia or vice-versa to be near to their families, for serving remaining part of their sentence and shall facilitate their social rehabilitation. Hence the Repatriation of Prisoners Act,2003 was enacted for this purpose
